Service Description
With our dedicated cloud you will have your own Kubernetes clusters. Depending on the requirements, we are able to setup Kubernetes clusters in various forms. Usually we resort to the following setup:
- Production Kubernetes cluster for the production environment, with a Always or Office SLA.
- Shared Kubernetes cluster for acceptance, staging, etc environments.
You pay for the Virtual Machines that make up the Kubernetes cluster. However, there is some overhead - since system components (e.g. monitoring, operators and so on) are also hosted on these Virtual Machines - and also some additional capacity needs to be taken into account for scalability purposes.
We usually do not share direct access to the Kubernetes cluster, but you are able to access certain parts. For example, we are able to share access to your MariaDB cluster - or a pod in the cluster that we call "access pod".
